I lost my remote and
Hi,
Look for your valet switch. It should be under the dash (a little red button). put the key in the ignition, turn all the way until the instrument cluster lights on, then press on the valet switch for a couple of seconds until you hear the alarm chirp. You're now in valet mode and it should be ok to start the car.
OR
Remove the fuse in the main harness going in to the alarm unit under the dash, if you have a starter kill feature you may need to bypass this. You will need to make up a jumper wire and place it in pin 30 and 87 on the relay.
Let us know if you want something more else accept the suggestion.

The alarm works fine but
You need to be a bit more specific. What kind of car? Did it ever work
correctly? Self install or professional? Any work done on car since?
Have a pt cruiser and my remote start wont start
sounds like the transponder bypass module is stuck in the on position, remove both fuses on the remote start unit and then try with the key, it should start, because you have removed power to the unit
Would you recomend the Audiovox prestige APS901N
IF RANGE IS NOT IMPORTANT I SUGGEST A AUDIOVOX AS9076N . ITS AN ADD ON REMOTE START WHERE YOU WOULD PRESS
LOCK
THEN UNLOCK
THEN LOCK AGAIN ON YOUR FACTORY REMOTE AND THIS WOULD START THE CAR.
I BELIEVE THE IGNITION KEY HAS BUILT IN KEYLESS ENTRY BUTTON ON IT ALREADY. SO WHY CARRY ANOTHER REMOTE?
MOST OF AUDIOVOX MIDRANGE SYSTEMS HAVE THIS OPTION FOR ADD ON REMOTE START SYSTEMS WHERE YOU CAN USE THERE REMOTE OR TIE IT IN WITH YOUR EXSISTING REMOTE.
OTHER UNITS WILL HAVE DOUBLE LOCK OPTION TO START CAR. OR TRIPLE LOCK OPERATION.
My two-way remote transmitter won't give car
you have to check the fuses for the alarm itself to make sure it is getting power and if it is you will need to get another remote. this is the most common issue with these. dropping it speeds up the process of it going bad. but very problematic.
Prestige car starter just quit working one
Locate the control unit (normally under dash) check the fuses in the system. If those are good trace each wire back to thier connections. You should have one or more ignition wires, one or more accesory wires, starter wire, brake kill wire, neutral interlock wire, underhood pin switch ( pin that kills the engine if the hood is opened while the remote unit is running) these may become stuck. If all of the connections are good then you may need to contact the manufacture for further assistance.
Do these work with pus button ignitio
Yes, the remote start can still operate your car, but I suggest not installing it yourself.. Take it to a reputable shop in your area! Push button start cars are different than regular key ignitions, so if you have no experience with remote starts, dont try it.
Prestige aps-57 remote start...car won't start
Hello hope this can help you. First check the starter wire, it is tan/lt blue located at the ignition harness. usualy during installation of the remote start system this wire is cut leaving you with two ends. one wire is coming from the ignition switch the other is going to the starter. the brain of the alarm hooks into both of these wires. if the repair man cut the wires from the brain and spliced them together he has just put the system back to OEM status leaving the alarm no way to engage the starter. I believe that may be where the problem lies but if not then I would say check your immobilizer bypass module the repair man mave have diconected that.
Thank you,
Luis
