This would be difficult to give an accurate diagnosis without full details like:- what model alarm system or vehicle this is for! sounds like it might be the starter connection to the key switch is disconnected!

This is most likely the key that is on your window. the contact may have come loose or slightly out of alignment. Try that first then take it back to the installer. I am sure they will get it working again without a fee.

yes i think it might be in valet

Either your siren is broken, not properly grounded, the system is in valet or, the chirps were deleted. To add chirps, turn the key on then off, immediately press and release the valet switch three times. If the chirps were off you will hear one chirp from the siren.

Ck. your battery or jump car and see how it starts if the same. you could have cable or connection problem. Could be a bad starter! or battery. Some auto part stores will check it for free.

Sounds like you may have a smart key with a transponder. The car will crank with a differant key but will not start because fuel and spark are dissabled. A new key is required and it must be coded to the vehicle by the deaker or a professional with the appropriate software. Then then a copy of the key is usually placed in a 555 box that is located close to the ignition switch so the transponder will still work. So basically you will need two keys made and coded.
