OUR SYSTEM WORKS FOR A WHILE ===THEN IT GOES DEAD

I've had that happen with a Partner ACS 3.0 before. The main processor is more than likely failing but you might wan't to check the electrical feed to the system (i.e. battery back up or surge bar) to see if its failing before it's getting to the system. Good luck

I am getting static on the line - my end only -

sounds like you have a 206e card thats going bad. there are still alot of them out there and there not too hard to replace in the cabinet. To figure out which card to replace, match your extension number to the following: card 1 is extensions 10-15, card 2 is extiesions 16-21, card 3 is extensions 22-27, and card 4 is extensions 28-33. Make sure you power down the system if you remove or install any cards.

I am having a problem, I to would like to forward

In order for a Partner to forward to an outside cell, the processor needs to be an R6 or higher.

Is yours? If you press Feature 59 from a display phone, it will tell you what release it is.

If feature 59 doesnt display anything, it is way older, and will not work.

After power failure, lines ring once and stop as

The system lost its programming. Do you have a Partner plus or Partner II?

Or is it an ACS?

If an ACS, you can restore programming (possibly)

If a Partner II/Plus, the internal battery is bad, I would get a battery backup or replace the processor.

How do I program alucent

you will have to go into system programming.
#301 will add it to each extension.
If you have no special ringing programs on all extensions (all phones ring immediately) you can do the initial line programming, #104, but that will reset all lines.

Lucent Parther 18 greeting question:

Well, which voicemail do you have?

The answers willbe more clear if we know that.

It is possible that the old greeting is a different AA number. Some voicemails can have up to 4 AA's.

Best way is to dial in and go through all AA greetings, both day and night for AA1-4. Listen to the recordings and find the one you need.

Line light stays lit all the time

Need more info. Is it all lines or just one?
Try rebooting a processor.
If problem still there disconect all extensions and add one at a time. Monitor lights on the phone. You might have a shorted jack somewhere.
