In my case (after a few crashes on Christmas morning) the bottom rotor stopped working, causing the copter to spin around on the ground uncontrolably. I traced the problem to a broken wire which is supposed to connect the motor to the PC board. There are four power wires, two for each motor. The front motor which powers the lower rotor has two wires, black and white. The upper motor is powered by the rear motor which has red and blue power leads. They are all supposed to be connected to four solder connector points laid out in a square pattern at the front, starboard corner of the PC board. In my case the black wire broke at the solder point on the PC board. I don't have a solder gun fine enough or hands steady enough to re-solder the connection so I will be looking for some electronics guy to fix this for me. It should only take a few minutes for someone who does this regularly and we will be airborne again!Hope this helps.Jerry

I also bought 2 copters on groupon on august and gave to my daughters in this cristhmas but they dont work. It doesnt matter if I charged them all night, the copter does not start. Any ideas? [email protected]

Try turning the controller power on ( before turning on the chopper) and then quickly moving the left throttle stick up to the fastest setting and then immediately back to the slowest speed setting...The flashing should stop. This calibrates the remote throttle range.
Turn on the helicopter and you should be OK
