As far as the green light on the charger not coming on: after I tested the batteries in the remote, I found that it was due to 2 of the 6 batteries in the remote control being dead (0.1volts) The charger probably sucks the power out of the #1 and #6 battery.

Make sure all batteries in the Remote have the same charge.

Also, there seems to be a loose contact in the charger plug prongs. You will have to find a way to sit the helicopter so that it stays in contact with the prongs while charging. Mine has to be on it's side to keep the green charger light on.

check over the helicopter first then hand controller heli could be the receiver chip or pick up on the helicopter motor issue ? didnt think it was direct drive .might be have to chase a broken wire connection or other if cogs or belts are used ..stripped or jammed or other receiver toast

The same thing happened to our air hog. It is difficult to remove the propellers the first time, and you have to be careful not to break them, but you can remove the propellers and clean out the hair. This fixed ours and it works just fine now.

the cause of this issue is hair or something preventing the tail rotor to spin properly.. i had this issue and checked mine over very good, noticed the hair in tail rotor, and then took a needle to fish IT ALL out.. if u dont get it all.. it wont trim properly cause it cant spin fast enough

I replaced a broken stabilizer successfully with a regular paper staple (like the kind in a red Swingline stapler). It's the right length! I punched the staple through the stapler to bend the ends, rounded them a bit with needle-nose pliers to fit over the stabilizer pegs, then used the pliers to tighten the loops. (I got a couple of Air Hogs recently at a garage sale, but one was missing a stabilizer. Excited that it works now!)

The top rotar blades are not turning but are slipping every now and then.

You have to keep tapping the right trim button. Keep tapping it until it stops spinning. If the spinning stops and it just turns, Use the the left right moving analog un til it flies straight.

You cannot easily change the frequency these helicopters operate on, they are not designed for multi channel use. To change their operating frequency you would need to find and replace the small crystal inside the helicopter and also inside the remote control. The 3 channel you are referring to is the number of functions (channels) you can control on the helicopter, not it's frequency channel.

There is a problem on the motor gear, check the underside where you could see a big gear that should spin when you try to lift the helicopter. Check both big gears if they rotate/spins.
Usually the problem is the small gear on the motor shaft that is not aligned to that big gear. Check on it and adjust the small gear of the motor.
