Tip & How-To about Apple iPod touch

How can I use my iPod to watch on TV?

IPods are one of the most popular MP3 player. However, in addition to playing MP3s on your iPod, too many iPods play videos, but also on their own screen, allowing you to things like movies, music videos or cartoons to watch. Finally, an additional feature of the iPod is the ability to connect to a TV for watching videos without having to squint to see them in a tiny iPod screen.

1. Connect the end of the 3.5 mm AV Cable for iPod Earphone iPod.

2. Connect the RCA at the other end of the ports on the back of your TV.

3. Touch users go to the Settings section on your iPod, and tap "Video Settings" and select "TV On". IPhone and iPod can find the video settings by clicking the Settings application on the home screen.

4. Change the channel on your TV using the extra channel or any channel for RCA TV

hello i just bought a phillips mp3 cd played, just want to know if its an actual mp3 player or just plays cd from mp3 file

Phillips does not make a hybrid cd / mp3 device. If you are able to insert a cd into the device and play it then it can only play audio cds and audio cds with mp3s on it. That is to say, it is not your standard MP3 player like an iPod etc. It is a cd player that can play mp3 cds.

Audio won't work on my movies!!

For most iPod owners, include you I guess, are not satisfying with only to play common music and videos with your lovely iPod. While there has been many times I heard that people complaining about the issues that some songs not playing with their iPod touch, more specifically, the iTune plays the music, seems to sync and the album cover shows up, but when trying to play it on iPod, the track doesn't play and the progress bar doesn’t move. Some just say that some certain video files can’t play on their iPod. All the problems could be caused by compatibility issue.
There’s a way out. With the help of additional freeware and shareware apps, it's easy to extend your 'iPod's abilities in more ways. iPod video converter is definitely a good choice . Being powerful but easy to use, it enables you to convert all popular audio and video files, such as AVI, MPEG, MOV, MP4, VOB, DivX, XviD, AAC, AC3, MP3 to MPEc,G 4 and H.264 Video that can be playable on iPod family: iPod Touch, iPod Video Nano and of course the new iPod Classic. it also has excellent video editing ability: crop out unwanted subtitles and unnecessary black bars, trim the video by setting the start time and ending time, customize the effect like saturation, contrast, etc,. you can also capture view from the video and store them as jpg,bmp or png.

iPod video converter is suitable for both novice and expert, you don’t have to have previous experience, and you will find just how powerful this program could be .it’s known for fast conversion speed but without video quality loss. Find more specific tools you need to work with your iPod.

i need more help!

If you got the music off of that horrible program lime wire more then likely you just have corrupt MP3s (they are rampent along with viruses on that program).

however if they are legit Mp3s try restoring your ipod in itunes then reloading all the music.

if this still doesn't work try resetting your ipod and then while the apple logo is displayed hold the menu and middle button to get into diagnostic mode. From there pick FlashScan to test the internal memory

if it passes, and the mp3s are fine, it would meen the data is getting corrupted on the transfer of your computer, check for viruses, try and other USB port, or try transferring the songs from another computer

hope this helps!

won't play songs

the codec used to create your Mp3s etc... may not be compatible with your Ipod.. your Ipod will automatically Skip any songs it cannot play (encoded with incorrect codec).

Try using a MP3 editor to re-encode the troublesome songs
