well, last night when I turned on the computer it was all screwed up....said do this, do that. I was furious wanted my main page and icons....I tried all they said to do.....half hour at least....then I remembered then I had simple problems before would turn off computer and voila all ol....last night held Heck, we all have problems....simple or huh?

I was furious wanted my main page and icons....I tried all they said to do.....half hour at least....then I remembered then I had simple problems before would turn off computer and voila all ol....last night held down both buttons for at least five minutes...maybe more.....was sure it was going to be an Apple problem....aha, the apple appeared:). Took long time to refresh...but all was there, icons and all! Paid myself ten bucks.....all is fine today, thought I would share....so there you have it...hope it helps? All other things were minor.....not this one.
If it white screen you are screwed if you do not no the Apple ID
if you can access the screen you can google check Apple ID then type the serial number to heck if it iCloud lock you can find serial number or imei number back of the iPad or in sim try if it's 3G iPad then type in and see if the iCloud is locked or not if it's not you can restore Ipad by iTunes on your computer turning the iPad off by pressing holding the power button and in-certain the charge till iTunes logo pop up on your iPad and then on your computer then restore the iPad
Probably because you don't normally turn it off.
It got confused.
I turn my phone off about once a week - it gradually loses battery longevity because of whatever processes started running.
I received my 3g model for Christmas as well. Last night, it lost wireless connectivity, froze and then would not turn back on, even though it was fully charge. However, I charged overnight again.
This morning, I held the on switch for much longer than normal, until the green light started flickering. I received a simple black screen a few times, but contintinued to hold the switch on. Then it reset itself and all is good.
So I know that sounds like a simple solution, but maybe worth trying. Good luck. It's disgusting, I know. I was so upset.
