Tip & How-To about Sharp Office Equipment & Supplies

How To Add Page Numbers to Prints / Copies on a Sharp Copier

This is a simple question that I am often asked, and I decided to put together a little guide on how to add page numbers in various programs/applications as well as from the copier's touch screen. Originally I thought this was something that could be dictated from a Sharp print driver, but it's not. It's accomplished by adjusting the settings of the actual document before you print it out.

Print Page Numbers Onto Copied Documents

1. On the Home screen, touch Copy

2. On the Copy screen, touch Others at the bottom-left

3. On the Others Screen, touch Stamp
4. On the Stamp screen, move to the Page No. tab, then choose the location of the page where you want the page number. You can also choose the pattern or text style that you want the page number to be on the left side of the menu.

5. Touch OK. Your copies will have the page number stamped in the position you chose.

Printing Page Numbers from Microsoft Word or Excel on a Windows PC

1. Open your document
2. Once you're ready to print the document, move to the Insert Tab, and choose Page Number, then choose the position where you'd like the page number printed, and the type/style of the numbering.
3. Your print outs will now have the page number printed on them.

Printing Page Numbers from Adobe Acrobat / Adobe Reader

First of all, Adobe Reader cannot add page numbers to PDF print outs. It's a READ ONLY tool incapable of editing documents. You'll need either Adobe Acrobat Pro, or software similar to what BatesNumberer.com offers.
There is a great video on tv.adobe.com that details how to add page numbers via Adobe Acrobat.

In Conclusion

Make the necessary changes to your document to add page numbering before you print it, or before you copy it. There are a ton of other great tutorials for Sharp copiers/printers at www.youtube.com/equipmybiz

treadmill did not have bolts and hardware to put it together included

Hello, Yvonne -

What is the make and model of your treadmill?

If you have not already done so, I suggest you find the home page for the treadmill manufacturer and contact the company Customer Service department to ask about the availability of replacement bolts and hardware.

If you choose Comment and add the maker name and model number of the treadmill, I will be happy to try to find the manufacturer website for you.

Best wishes.

"call service " errors on a kodak i600 scanner, what are they and what do the numbers mean

All errors you can't solve, without replacing parts, will give an error call service centre.
In only a few cases, it only has to do with a bad connection, but it also can be a problem with components becoming to hot and switching off. Please follow the advice the machine is giving.
Too often people ask how they can put back together, some things they started "repairing" and could not work out how to.
just saying.

I bought an 'open' box Canon camera SX210 IS. There was no manual in the box! Please send me a manual ASAP I do not want to print one out because of the amount of paper involved and I have no way to put all the pages together. My address is Michael McCarrey 2421 Ogilvie RD, Ottawa On Canada K1J-7N3 Thank you

Hi and welcome to FixYa!
I'm afraid that we can only provide a link where you can print the manual. If printing will be inconvenient then I suggest that you ask for manual on the person where you purchased the unit.

I provided a link where you can access and print the manual just incase you decided on the printout.

Adobe Acrobat Pro 7.0 Can't get page numbers to show

OK, That's why it's not working.. In order to get them on there, do the following:

Once you have loaded the page into acrobat, goto the Document Menu, mouse over header and foot, and choose add..

In there, there will be a button that will say "insert page number", just click on that (only once), then click "ok".. That will add page 1...2...3...4, etc to the top of every page.

As a side note: you can also choose where to put the page number by clicking in one of the text boxes marked "Left Header", "Center Header", etc.. and then click on "insert page number".. You will be able to see a preview first before actually adding the numbers..
