Tip & How-To about Whirlpool Dryers

Whirlpool Dryer (FixYa Tip) that works

Could not get my Dryer going and had dismantled and checked all the electrical I could. I happened on FixYa on U-Tube and there was the answer that all the others had missed. You have my regards FixYa, you save the day and a lot of money in throwing parts at a machine that was given to us. It took 8 hours of searching but saved hundreds in parts cost. Love You (FixYa)

Dismantling my dryer

Great detailed directions on disassembling the LG Dryers on You-Tube. Much more helpful and accurate than a narrative from me.
Also, you can run the dryer with it partially disassembled to observe what is happening and to troubleshoot the problem.

May tag centennial dryer ( electric) runs for about ten minutes and then stops. Checked ventilation , it's good. What could be causing this to happen?

Very likely you have a "overheat thermostat switch" that has failed, or has sensed the need for you to dismantle the machine and clean it.
Your dryer has from 3 to 6 overheat switches in the back and or bottom of the machine, and they are there to prevent fire.
If you choose to fix it yourself, you will need some tools and a electrical testing meter, and an e-mail to "fixya" could get you to receive step-by-step instructions on the procedure.
Be blessed.
