Steps:

1. Press X+power at the same time
2. Press BLUE, GREEN, GRAY
3. press BLUE until you see "INFORMATION MENU"
4. press OK
5. Press Blue until you see "CHECKSUM FOR RELOCK DATA INPUT"
6. OK
7. Press X until you exit all menius
8. When promted for aliement cancel it with X.
It should bypass the error

Most times it just need a good clean ,take out and clean the brass conextions.

There is a ink resovier where the cartridges are cleaned of excess ink after a job. That gets filled over time and gives you the leakage described. Very messes job to clean it.

Step 1: Turn printer on -- open front door.
Step 2: Tilt cartridge down in front and remove cartridge.
Step 4: Refill cartridge with ink per instructions on refill kit.
Step 5: Reinstall cartridge by reverse of step 2, then 1.
Works for me -- I refill 6 or more times before replacing the
cartridge.
