A Pro Gamer Wired Twin Microphone Pack was bought to be used with the We Sing Down Under Wii Game, and it's not working. The consol/game is not registering that the microphone is plugged in, however the microphone that came with the game works. All advice would be much appreciated.

Try to attach it in another console or in a PC if it recognize it probably the issue is with your Wii.

Maybe the Nintendo Wii overheated because you played with it for too much. Give it a rest and go back to it later.

SOURCE: my Nintendo microphone

My Nintendo ds lite also would not respond to voices. I have brain age 2 and Zelda. In the Zelda options there is a mic test. This will show a graph bar that measures your voice. Well the mic was not working at all for either game. I simply took out the battery and held the power slide for a couple seconds. Amazingly the mic works now for both games. I do not know if moving the power slide is significant, but on computers to de-static them you remove all power sources(battery and ac adapter) and hold the power button for 10 seconds.

SOURCE: Wii USB not working

I had the same problem but i found out if you only have 2 remotes and you use them for the guitar and the drums the mic wont work.
you have to use one of the remotes for the microphone
first unplug your wii console then hook up the mic to the consol
turn the wii on and use the remote for player one to activate the game without the other instruments connected.
after you get the game started it will recognize the microphone. then connect the other remote to which ever instrument you want to use. you have to have three remotes to use the guitar the drums and the microphone

I bought drums at a garage sale. I thought they were for Rockband Wii. I bought Rockband 1 for Wii, but I can't get the drums to sync. The screen keeps indicating it can't detect a microphone,...

If the buttons that you have are 1, 2, A, B, then you have the Rockband drums for Wii (the ones for Xbox have X, Y, A, B). You don't need a microphone to play Rockband, you just need to have a Wii remote on when you start the game. That should get rid of the pesky "Can't Detect Microphone" message and let you get to the main game screen to play the rest of the game. Have fun!

I bought a nintendo wii,and I don't know if I need a wii LAN adapter to get internet and I have a wired network, but my friend told me she has internet and her network is wired and she doesn't have...

The only network adapter integrated into the Wii is wireless, you will need a network adapter to use a wired network.

Please see the official site for more details: http://www.nintendo.com/consumer/systems/wii/en_na/acc/wiiLAN.jsp

Thanks, and as always a vote/feedback is appreciated. =)

Do I need more than one Wii remote for Band hero Wii????

you need a wii remote for each instrument and the microphone. you need one remote for the drums, one for the bass guitar player, one for the guitar, and one in close proximity to the microphone user. you have to set a wii remote near the microphone once the microphone is plugged into the USB port in the back of the wii console. i think there is something like a 10 foot radius meaning if the wii remote is too far from the microphone it will disconnect. so you can do only one instrument per wii remote you are using.

I got my daughter Wii Rockband-she is so mad and me to because we can't figure out how to let her play it-like play the guitar without the microphone-everytime she tries to play it, it says it doesn't...

Rock Band is a 4 player game, each player taking their own role. They can choose from Guitar, Bass, Drums or Microphone. If your daughter wants to play guitar and sing at the same time, she will need to play a multiplayer game and use 2 Mii profiles, one for guitar and one for singing.
A single player cannot play 2 instruments using the same Mii either. You must use separate profiles.
