1320tn - network cable link light does not turn on. I have changed cables, turned off power, held down reset button and nothing works. Also, network config will not work when pressing in reset button. Regular configuration printout does not show any IP address. Could the network card have gone bad or the reset swith or possibly cable connection?

I've tried different ports, a different router, different cables, etc. The usb port works and I can print from that, I just can't use it as a network printer. It is probably the formatter.

Take a breath, relax. The link light means that you have established a connection with whatever is at the other end of the network cable. You omitted that info. If the printer is connected to a switch, try a different port. If the printer is connected to a router and you have a free port, connect it there. If the printer is connected to a PC, that port could be bad. If you have another printer, try plugging it into the PC. As long as you don't have the handshake between PC and printer you won't see any IP address. I'm not familiar with the 1320. Saying that, I believe that the network interface is on the formatter board. And yes that could be bad. Doesn't the 1320 have a USB port? Have you tried that.
Before you spend any money, try connecting the printer to a different PC or a laptop. If it works, your printer is not the problem. If it still fails, call for service, because the formatter will need replacing.

Still think that you try it on a different PC before replacing formatter, in case the network port on the PC is bad.

I need to reset the waste ink counter on my epson 2200 printer.

1. Turn off the printer power and unplug the power cord from the wall. Disconnect the computer interface cable at the back of the printer. 2. After one minute reattach the power plug to the wall, but don't reattach the computer cable. 3. Hold down the ROLL and the PAPER ADVANCE buttons simultaneously. 4. Turn the printer on. after 2 blinks, all the ink lights come on, then release the buttons being held down. 5. Press and hold the ROLL button for 10 seconds 6. Release the ROLL button and the printer will initialize, which resets the Waste Ink Pad Counter. 7. Once initialization is complete, turn the printer power off. 8. Reconnect the interface cable. 9. Turn the printer on and print a document.

The PS3 switches on, lights up, drive and disc drive working but No Signal on TV. Saw HDMI cable solution previously posted. Does that work for SCART also?

yes just change hdmi for the word scart
  1. Make sure the HDMI cable is connected to the HDMI OUT port on the back of the PLAYSTATION 3 system. Connect the other end of the HDMI cable into the HDMI Input port of the TV or display monitor.
  2. While the PLAYSTATION 3 system is in standby mode (red light on the front of the system), hold down the touch-sensitive power button on the front of the system until the system goes into standby mode again . (So the light cycle would go from: red light --> green light --> then back to red light). This will ensure that you have held down the power button long enough to reset the Video Output Settings.
  3. Turn on the PLAYSTATION 3 system and once the system finishes powering up, the Video Output Settings will automatically reset to the standard resolution (or detect the current display output settings of your TV/monitor).

A friend gave me the d-link wbr 1310. he doesn't remember the password can you help me get my wireless conection working.

To get this working, you would need to reset the router to it's factory default. This way you would be able to start fresh.

Follow these steps:

Plug power into your router.

There is a reset button the back of the router. Use a paperclip or sharpened pencil to push it in and hold it for 1minute.

Now connect your router to your computer by connecting one of the LAN ports to your computer through an ethernet cable. The cable looks like the picture below.
856b422.jpg

Also, take another cable that looks like the picture above, and plug it from your dsl modem or your cable modem to the INTERNET port on your router.

Now unplug the power to your dsl modem or your cable modem for 45 seconds.

And Ungplug the power to your router for 45 seconds.

Plug the power to your dsl modem or cable modem back in and wait for all the lights to be solid green.

Plug the power to your wireless router and wait for all the lights to turn solid green.

Now turn on your laptop and you should be able to surf the internet.

You can go ahead and unplug the ethernet cable going from your computer to the router.

Now go to your computer's wireless radio and scan for your router.

It should appear as dlink. Go ahead and connect to it.

You have setup your wireless router.

Don't forget to vote for me and leave me a rating. Let me know how it worked out.

Ps3 hdmi

Hello. No offense to you but many people do not do the video reset properly. Here are the official Sony directions.

Reset the Video Output Settings. While the PLAYSTATION 3 system is in standby mode (red light on the front of the system), hold down the touch-sensitive On/Off button on the front of the system until the system goes into standby mode again . (So the light cycle would go from: red light to --> green light --> then back to red light) This will ensure that you have held down the On/Off button long enough to reset the Video Output Settings. Once you turn it back on, it should work fine

If that doesn't work I would reformat your system. (If you don't have a lot saved on your hard drive that can't be replaced) But there are many options under the system setting folder that you can reset or reformat. Other then that I have no idea. Maybe the video port is shorting out.

Hope this helps. Good luck and happy gaming!!

PS3 doesn't appear on screen. Possible power issue.

Hello. There are a few causes for this. I will list acouple solutions for you.

1. Once you turn it back on, it should work fine.
2. If option 1 does not work call Sony because the video out chip has blown or come unsoldered.

I hope this helps. Good luck to you.
