If the screen is too dark on the TV or the brightness keeps on continuing to change then the problem here is with the Energy Saving mode settings. By default the TV does set the Energy Saving to Auto, which means that the TV will automatically by it's self does adjust the screen brightness depending on the brightness of light it detects.
Hello from Venezuela, it's possible that speaker is bad, open the tv and find a tester, wiht the tester in beep continuity test mode and the tv off, put in the speaker terminals the pins off tester respectibly, in the tester screen must view something like this: 7.95 to 8.20 or 3.80 to 4.10. And must hear a beep sound from tester, it means the speaker is ok. If not, the built in sound amplier is provably bad and you must change the aplifier IC with a experience o certified thecnician... About the video could be a fail in the audio video mixer of tv try replaceit.... Att: Eduard.
It's the problem of overheating in the power supply board of the TV.on the power supply board of the TV there are few capacitors and IC.any of this IC is got short or may be weak.so due to this when you start the TV the current passes from electric outlet to the power supply board of TV.but when the current passes from that weak/faulty part at that time current gets stopped or slow and the board overheats and TV shuts off. this is a common problem faced by many other users too.the possible option to solve this issue is to check the power supply board by a meter and continuity tester and replace the faulty component on the board which is short due to which power supply board is getting overheated.its bit technical job but yes its not at all a costly repair to do or get it done by the technician. for required parts it can be easily available from local electronic hardware shop.
To clarify, your TV is working correctly, since you get sound and video from all devices - Only your PS3 has no sound or video?
If your PS3 was previously used with regular AV cables (Red/White/Yellow) then you most likely need to do a PS3 video reset t output video over HDMI.
With the PS3 OFF, press and continue holding the power button until it turns on, beeps twice, and then turns back off. Do not release the power button during this process.
You may have to try the video reset a few times if it doesn't work right away.
After video reset, you should get sound and video over HDMI.
The same problem i am also facing bin last weak what i will suggest you that neverturn off ur TV by remote switch off directly from the scree from next time it will be helpful for you from next time...
Y sustain board damaged and need to be replaced, try EBAY for a general
picture of prices but you will need your product code wich is located
in the back of the TV next to serial number.
With the PS3 and the TV properly connected and both units off turn on the TV and set the input to the proper HDMI setting then press and hold the power on button on the PS3 until it beeps twice. This should resolve your issue. Please let me know how it works for you.
Since the set is less than 1 year old, it should still be under warranty. Request warranty service.
The noise you are hearing is probably arcing inside the set on the power supply board. Continuing to attempt to turn on the set will only make things worse. Please request warranty service as this is unusual for a TV that new.
