It is great that running calibration or resetting the unit worked for you guys, but that is not always the fix. Depending on the age on the unit the incline motor might actually be bad and needs to be replaced. I ran calibration on my unit server all times and each time the ramp error message returned. It turned out to be a bad motor and the part was around 200.00
Thanks! It was the calibration!
But in order to get to calibration mode I had to press "Resistance Up" and "Start", not "Incline Up" and "Start"

I had the same exact error and resolved this simply by removing the incline Rail front cover (113) and disconnecting and reconnecting the three Motor Power lines listed in step 2.

Ignore everything above - most of the time this is an easy fix. Usually, it happens with a brand new console, or a machine that has reset itself.
Hold down the incline up (on the console itself) button and the start button at the same time. Then follow the instructions on screen.
It will run through an initial calibration, and once complete, the ramp will now work. Just did this with mine, and my ramp is now working perfectly.
