Put your remote down and dont use it. disconnect the power at the plug. wait 30 secs. reconnect the power at the plug and use the ON button of the TV, see what happens. only then try remote. a TV is never OFF unless its power is disconnected even when the remote tells it to go off, its still in standby and what it needs is a proper OFF for a while.

You likely have bad convergence output IC's that have caused one of the supply fuses to blow. This repair will have to be performed by a qualified technician. If you were in our area and has us repair this the total cost of the repair would be about $340 if I am correct about the cause of your problem.

your model. i would not keep trying to turn it on it might damage
something else in the tv. the reason it is shutting off is because the
power supply is putting out too much voltage. a repair cost will range
around 300-400. this is a great model and well worth a repair. here is

I have the same tv but the picture is being squished down a bit, maybe 20% down the screen. black bar across just the top, and the color is off any suggestions?
