Customers child has patterned locked their zte racer phone. wondering how to unlock it and do a factory reset using buttons

If you own the phone. You could do a master reset.

If you did set up recovery pin it will as you for that. If not then only hard reset but you will erase everything on phone.

On the locked screen, if there is an Emergency Call button, press this, then enter *983*987# into the dialler. Follow the steps to do a factory default

1. Turn off your ZTE Atlas
2. Press and hold Volume DOWN and power buttons together.
3. In the Android recovery menu screen select wipe data factory reset with volume down button
4. Press power to confirm. Select Yes - delete all user data if another option came up.
5. After wipe data select reboot system now.
