Double check the email address that is displayed, sometimes this gets changed for one reason or another. Once you've ensured it is correct, log in to the Apple ID website:
Apple My Apple ID
This rules out login problems with the Apple ID its self.
If you successfully log in on the website Try going in to Settings > Facetime.
Tap your Apple ID & Sign Out.
Sign Back in & try again.
If it still doesn't work do a basic reset of the device.
Make sure it is not plugged in.
Hold the home button & power button at the same time until you see the Apple logo.
Try again.

apple passwords require 1 capital letter and at least 1 number. You HAD to do that when you signed up. Are you forgetting to add those in when you sign in?
