Yes there are primary fuse as well as secondary fuses. If you feel up to it unplug the power cord, remove the back cover screws ( more than 20 of them ) . After removing the back cover you will see glass fuses on the circuit board where the power cord gets connected ( some cases the power socket wires goes to the on/off switch and then to the power supply board. See if you can spot a fuse which might be open or burnt black in color. Replace them with the same rating fuse and note if they are T type of F type. T stands for Timedelay and F stands for fast acting. After replacement on turning on if the fuse blows again do not attempt to replace the fuse.It means you have component failure or short circuit. Take professional help because diagnostics is an entirely different ball game .

There is a fuse in the power supply board near the end of the board. The tv power supply board is it dead. That the board where the power a/c cord plug in.Power surge by a storm, change the fuse will not help the board to work.Because all those ICS on a power supply board are very sensitive to electrical static charges are dead already.Tries websites like Shopjimmy.com,Ebay.com to buy a whloe new refurbish power supply board for the replacement.
