Go to menu, set up for antenna and go to automatic search; you will see all channels.

I have a new TCL tv and hooked up my antennae connection (outdoor antenae) and tv can't find channels. The antennae wire worked with the older samsung tv which I just replaced

Make sure it is in the " on air or antenna mode" Then scan for channels. Also check the center pin on the coax cable and make sure it goes in the center hole of the antenna connector. if that doesn't work the tv tuner migkt be defective.

How do I hook up an indoor antenna to my Sanyo TV

There is a threaded connector marked cable/antenna. You use this connection to attach the antenna cable. Then you do a channel scan with the tuner set to antenna not cable.

How do I find a video to hook up my Samsung TV? Model BN68-04027A-03 The TV was a Xmas gift and did find a video and now I can't find it Tx. Wanda

The English owner's manual for the part number listed is available at...

http://www.manualslib.com/manual/146620/Samsung-Bn68-01171b-03.html#manual

Page six (6) indicates the back panel of your Plasma TV has two HDMI inputs, one component (RGB) and a specialized AV input/output connector. The latter requires a cable that is popular in Europe. Adapters to use it with US standard S-Video and RCA composite video are difficult to locate.

HDMI and component cables are available at big box stores (Best Buy, WalMart etch) but are much cheaper from generic internet sellers.

I am not sure about the second half of your question concerning "get to channel 3 to get to all other channels).

I must assume you have told the TV to "scan" for other channels (cable or over the air (OTA) with the black antenna/RF cable connected directly to the back of the TV.

If you have done so I am guessing you have connected the antenna cable first to a RECORDER or CABLE BOX. In many cases, these will only output channel 3 or 4 and block all other channels when turned on. In order to see other channels, you will need to buy a 2-way RF splitter so that both the recorder or Cable box can be connected at the antenna cable at the same time. Please note, doing so will mean you cannot see the output of the recorder or cable box on channel 3 or 4 but must use its the video/audio (HDMI, component, composite, S-Video) outputs from it to the TV. Again, this splitter is available from big box stores or the internet.

Why can't I use a digital antenna on my flat

Most televisions today have a setup mode for the tuner where it searches for channels based upon the input type. Older sets required the user to input whether or not the source was over-the-air broadcast, analog cable, or digital cable. If you were using your set with the cable or satellite system previously. you will most likely need to run the setup again with the digital antenna and let the set find the channels available via the antenna.

The tv s autostore will not retune

i think in your TV...... design ..... is such that once channels are autostored it cannot be retuned ..... so you try this ...... it may work ......... disconnect tv antenna cable ( or local tv channels cable ) from your TV & then click autostoring (auto tunning ) ..... definitely it will scans (search for channels ) ..... but since no cable is connected no channels will get stored ...... but previously autostored channels will get removed ...... so now again connect your antenna cable or local tv cable & then click autostore ...... it will scan for channels .... like this you can retune ....... but remember again you may get same quality of picture which you got earlier ..... if you want better quality of picture you have to use signal amplifier (increases cables signal's strength - then picture quality improves ) .....

In just bought new Toshiba regza 40" Lcd tv and auto tuned it, but the picture is terible , snowy and colours are not good, what to do...

Hello
First of all reset the TV. for that

press and hold the POWER button
on the TV control panel for 5 or more seconds to reset the TV.
Then connect the TV tt any source like outdoor areiel or cable box etc, select the appropriate input, and retune the TV. First of all, connect it to an external antenna, and set it to autotune.

You must configure the ANT/CABLE input source before

programming channels (-left-hand column).

If the ANT/CABLE input signal type is set to Cable, the

automatic channel programming process erases channels

that were previously programmed into the TV's memory.

If the ANT/CABLE input signal type is set to Antenna, the

automatic channel programming process adds newly found

channels to the existing set of programmed channels (and

does NOT erase channels that were previously

programmed into the TV's memory.) To remove an Antenna

source channel from the memory, you must manually delete

it.

To tune the TV to a channel not programmed in the channel

memory, you must use the Channel Number buttons on the

remote control.

Programming channels when the ANT/CABLE input is

configured for Cable will take substantially longer than when

the antenna input is configured for Antenna. This is normal;

however, once channel programming is finished, you should

not have to repeat the programming process again unless
your Cable TV service lineup changes significantly.
Find out the received channels are clear or not. If they are clear, your TV is perfect, and the input device you connects ot the TV is faulty. OK.

Hi- I bought a used 37LC model (less than 1 yr old) without a manual. I cannot get any over the air local stations to come up under the TV mode. Does this model have a normal tuner ? The display shows...

if the display says cable, it won't get over the air signal. switch the source to antenna, hook up an antenna and go through auto program sequence.

Would like to record from my tv to my magnavox dvd/vcr combo box

If I understand your request right, You do not have cable or satellite box.
You can not record from your TV. You use the TV as a monitor from the dvd/vcr combo box. What the box receives is what shows on the TV. So you will have to have a digital convertor hooked to the (antenna in) dvd/vcr combo box, (antenna out to the tv antenna in) Depending on the antenna you are using that is on the other end of your cable-in coax connection this will hook to your antenna in on the digital convertor box. If your cable is hooked up and operating correctly and directly to the tv that is digital ready you probabbly have a good picture. When the vhf/uhf signal was transmitted you could go from the dvd/vcr to the tv with no problem. But now that the signal is digital and the tv is set for digital the dvd/vcr will not pass a digital signal to the tv. Best suggestion, you have to get a digital dvd/vcr receiver. If you have more question please contact me.
