The ink is blurred and not printing all the colors

Hi, You could try cleaning the print heads with a damp paper towel. Gently dab at them until you see clear colors with no bleed. It's ok even to let the damp paper set on head for few minutes. Also clean the print area in printer. Then put cartridges back in printer and run a print head cleaning. You may have to run it a couple times.
this has worked for me unless of course a cartridge is empty of a color.
Good Luck to you, I know you can do it,
tina

Epson Stylus CX4800 prints blurred pictures

ok..first you will need to print the nozzle check and see if all the color are printed out fine.. this feature is under the printer properties , under the utility tab.... assuming all your colors nozzle are printed fine..then the next thing for you to do is do the Print Head Alignment.. it's under the same place where you print the nozzle check.. when you press the Print Head Alignment, it will print a page out with many lines.. choose the one with the best alignment.. once u done that..try printing the image again..
oh..if your nozzle check print out is not good.. then you will need to perform head cleaning to clear the clogged head..

Colors print blurred

I had that problem too. The weird thing was if I printed in black and white, the printing was fine. For me it looks like it was a new defective photoconductor unit. When I stuck the old one back in, no problem but my old one was producing 4 color dots all the way down the middle of the page. I went on eBay and brought a re-manufactured one (buy at your own risk) and the color printing was perfect again.

Center of page is not printing black

I changed out our black photoconductor unit #165 and it solved the problem. Even though the error message did not say that the photoconductor needed changed out, it had been eight months since the last replacement. I hope this helps!
