Bought a non standard Motorola battery for my V300 and about 2 months later the phone just stopped working during a charge. Cannot turn it on and cannot charge at all. Have so many contact numbers on the phone which I need for work. Could it be the battery (I bought battery from an indoor market).

I have the same phone and it flashs every now and then when its charging but it charges and works fine. Is yours charging?

Yes, that is exactly what it is. Both phones are at&t, therefore all u would have to do is change the sim card. If one was a different carrier, then it would get a little more complicated and you would need to unlock the device.
