Number one problem with front loads are the clogging of the pumps, but you should get a fault code with the unit at the same time. In order to fix this you will need to remove the front panel below the door, there is a large black hose located inside on the right hand side with 3 clamps on it, remove that hose and clean out the coin collector. If full of water, it holds about 6 gallons, so be-careful to get out as much water as possible before remove this black hose.
Good Luck

Hi there. You can download the PDF of the manual from Frigidaire here:

As far as I can see, this appliance does not have a filter to get blocked. Page 8 of the manual suggests:

• Drain hose is kinked or clogged. Clean and straighten the drain hose.

• Standpipe is too tall. Maximum standpipe height is 8' (2.4 m).

• House drain pipes are clogged. Unclog drain pipes. Contact plumber if necessary.

Need a manual for model SFPEB08F2B it is leaking a lot of water. how can I fix it?

First be sure the coil isn't frozen. This could be the cause. Then place shop vac on drain line until clear.

How do i unclog it

I would need the full model number of the machine to give you exact directions. It's usually found inside the door. It's probably locked so i will instead point you to step by step videos. You will have to decide which apply to you. If you watch three or four of these videos you will be ready to tackle whatever you come across. Here's a tip though if your tub is full of water and if you have a shop vac. Remove the paper filter in the vac and vac-up the water as it flows from the hose when you loosen it. You can even control the speed of flow if you are careful. Don't get in too big of a hurry. Hope this helps:

Washer is not draining and F21 is flashing on washer

the pump is blocked or the pump could be bad and need to be replaced.remove the bottom panel.if water is still in the tub,get a shop vac and vac out the water, then you'll see in the middle of the pump a piece that unscrews.turn it slowly counter clockwise, when the water starts to leak vac it up until it stops leaking and remove the middle piece out of the pump, clean out the catch, put the piece back in,add a little water to the machine and put it on drain,if it drains then you are done,if it doesn't you'll need a new your parts store, give them the model number and they will sell you the correct pump.good luck,if you need any more help let me know and send the model number

Machine won't rinse stops at 21. took hose off pump and seems to work ,will drain if lower hose.will then stop at 11 min mark please help lost manual.

send the model number next time.the pump is blocked.if your model has the removable filter in the middle of it you have to remove it and clean it out.with a shop vac vac out all the water in the tub, then turn the filter counter clockwise and when the water starts coming out slowly vac it up until all the water is drained, remove the filter and clean it out.add some water and set it to drain and see if the pump works,if it does then you're all set,if it doesn't remove the filter again and make sure nothing is stuck in the pump,if it's clear you probably damaged the impeelar on the pump and need a new pump but they are pretty hard to brake,if it doesn't have the filter pull off the hose and vac out the pump then stick your finger in there or a screw driver and make sure the pump is clear, also check the hose to make sure that's clear,if it doesn't drain most likely you'll have to replace the pump.if you need more help let me know and send the model number, open the door and look around the opening of the dryer not on the door and you'll see the model number

My washer wont drain the water gives me a E20 meassage how do I fix this

Use a wet drry shop vac and attach it to the end of the drain hose to remove all the water. Then you need to remove the front panel and door boot gasket to get at the drain pump remove the hoses from the drain pump and check for any obstructions.
the will also be a plastic coin trap in the black boot that comes down from the bottom of the tub this may also need to be clean out. if there are no obstructions then the door lock or the drain pump needs to be replaced. but removeing any obstructions should solve this problem

Kenmore front loader - how to manually drain water

This problem is commonly attributed to either a leaking water inlet valve, or a pressure switch malfunction. The following link explains how to diagnose the problem and repair as necessary:

Replacement parts (if required) can be purchased at any of the following websites:

All these sites are reputable and offer great service with competitive pricing, so shop and compare. The first three sites I listed also include helpful exploded view parts diagrams to assist you in locating and properly identifying the parts you need.

If you have any questions, please post back and let me know. I hope this helps you. NOTE: The easiest way to remove the water from the wash tub and avoid flooding your laundry room is to remove the drain hose from the standpipe at the wall and use a wet/dry shopd vac to pull a vacuum on the line. If you do not own a shop vac, you can use a mop bucket and lower the drain hose enough to allow gravity to drain. Make sure to place the drain hose back in the standpipe between emptying the shop vac or mop bucket to prevent water from running on the floor.

I have a G1220SC model. F11 shows on the panel,

F11 is a drain error.

Water outlet restricted.

** Check for kink in the drain hose.

** Clean the filter combination. (p.41)

** Clean the non-return valve (check valve) (p. 53)

** Check/clean the drain
Unplug the machine.
Disconnectthe drain where it enters the S bend from the sink. You may find thenozzle into the S bend is blocked. Probe it with a screwdriver andclear the blockage.
Plug in2_bing.gif the machine and re-try.

may not be for your model - however it will give instructions on some of the steps above.

If all checks out - the pump will need replacement.

Thanks for using FixYa - a 4 THUMBS rating is appreciated for answering your FREE question.

How do I drain the outer tub of my washing machine?

If you own a wet/dry shop vac this can take about 5 minutes. Pull the drain hose from the stand pipe at the wall and pull a vacuum using the shop vac. These front loaders usually only hold about 5 to 7 gallons when full.

If you do not own a shop vac, you will need to access the drain pump and either remove one of the drain lines, or remove the clean out trap cover on the drain pump (if equipped). You will need a lot of extra towels to catch all the water. This can be a messy method to use.

If you need further assistance, please post back with your brand name and model number. All front loaders are not designed the same and this makes it much easier to diagnose. I hope this helps you.

It is filled with water and wont drain way need instruction book

Plug off the mains. Drain off the water by lowering the drain hose behind the machine into bucket or low level drain. Could be a panel in front of machine. Screws maybe underneath panel.
You will see the pump assembly right in the center with big black hoses.

You need a pair of pliers and a shop-vac if you have one, or towels and a bucket. Use the pliers to unscrew the pump filter, it is white in colour. When you unscrew this water will start to leak out; use towels or shop-vac to mop up. Do this till all water is mopped. Remove the drain trap completely, you will find much junk; clean out completely and refit carefully, in reverse order.

From the filter the hose goes to your pump, check this out you may find something blocking the impeller, remove any foreign matter. Refit everything in carefully.

Okay...I'm a little confused on your symptoms. You initially said it fills, but doesn't agitate or spin, but drains.

Then, you finished with the washer filling, no agitate or spin, but now doesn't drain.

Which one is it?

The symptoms you describe are usually associated with the following:

1. Fills, may or may not agitate, won't spin or drain - lid switch.
2. Fills, may or may not agitate, won't spin, but still drains - motor coupling.
3. Fills, may or may not agitate, won't spin or spins slow - gear case.
4. Fills, agitates, spins, but does not drain – water pump.

NOTE: These are the more common failure items with these symptoms.

Double check the lid switch by opening and closing the lid. You should hear a clicking noise to indicate the switch is working. The switch is located under the top panel along the wash tub rim on the right-hand side. If not, check to make sure the lid strike (small plastic piece on the lid itself) is in place. This activates the lid switch when the lid is closed. Also, check the mounting screws along the rim (there are two of them) to see if they are tight.

If the motor coupling were bad, the washer would still drain, but there would be a rattling sound as the washer tries to spin or agitate.

If you need replacement parts, go to and type in your model number in the "Search by Model Number" window. The lid switch can be found under the "Top and Cabinet" heading as item number 11 (part #3949238). Instructions on how to replace are located at the following link:

If you wish to replace the motor coupling, the part can be found under the “Brake/Clutch/Gearcase/Motor/Pump” heading as item number 13 (part #285753A). If you need instructions on how to replace, just follow this link:

Now, there’s a couple of ways to drain the washer. If it’s a simple lid switch problem, you don’t need to drain the washer to replace the switch. With a broken switch repaired, the washer will run and drain by itself. However, if you wish to drain the tub you can use a shop vac to pull a vacuum on the drain hose. This may take a few times depending on the size of the shop vac. These wash tubs typically have about a 35 gallon capacity. If you do not own a shop vac, you can by-pass the lid switch by jumpering the two BLACK wires at the lid switch connector that is connected to the console. CAUTION: Make sure you UNPLUG the washer before jumpering, then plug back in.

I hope this information is helpful to you. If I’m wrong about the symptoms, please post back and update me on what the washer is or is not doing, so I can assist you further.
