If you have the original remote with the "CCL" Child Lock it unlocks it. If you are like me and lost the remote I unlocked mine by 1. Turn on TV 2. Hold down the menu button and unplu it. 3. Continue to hold the menu button down while you plug it back in. Mine unlocked, good luck.

The volume on my hisense tv keeps going all the way down by itself.. Can you tell me some possible reasons and solutions?

Hello Ginnie, it may be that your remote control has the VOL-locked button and produces the fault, to test the batteries to the remote control and check if it continues to do so.
Another option may be that the VOL- control, on the TV, is locked or has some internal dirt and generates a false contact that could cause the failure
Check these points to see if you have problem solution
If not consult a specialized technical service
I hope I can solve the problem

How do you turn off hotel mode on a hisense tv

To turn off this mode, you have to enter its service mode. If you wish to get more details, check the site linked here. It is very difficult to type in all here. http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/ Pull up previous posts there, either by type in the model name to your set in its search box, or view it in Timeslide option.

TV IS IN LOCK MODE

Try this. If you have a Hisense TV and it happens to be stuck in "child lock" mode (blue screen displaying the words "child lock") you can try to fix it by holding the "CALL" button on the remote for a few seconds.

I cannot hear any sound out of my Polaroid TDX-01930B television.

Hello
First make sure that the "Mute" function is OFF. If it is set to "ON", no volume will be there.

Your TV has a volume lock function included [Global Volume Lock].

The remote comes preset to allow independent volume control of each selected device (Global

Volume Unlock). However, you may change the Volume Lock setting to Global Volume Lock so that

one device's volume will control volume in all other modes. After that, you can perform Individual

Volume Unlock on a selected device to set its volume control for independent operation or Global
Volume Unlock to remove all volume locking.
Locking Volume Control to One Mode (Global Volume Lock)
[1] Press and hold SET UP until the red LED blinks twice; then release.

[2] Enter 9-9-3 and then press the mode key for the device you want to control volume (for

example,TV). The LED blinks twice. Now when you press VOL+, VOL-, or Mute, the selected
device (for example, TV) will control the volume regardless of the current mode.
Unlocking All Volume Control (Restoring Global Unlock)
[1] Press and hold SET UP until the red LED blinks twice; then release.

[2] Enter 9-9-3 and then press VOL+. The LED blinks four times.
Volume is now independently controlled for all programmed devices.
Unlocking a Single Device's Volume Control
[1] Press a device key (TV, VCR/DVD, CBL/ SAT, or AUX).
[2] Press and hold SET UP until the red LED blinks twice; then release.

[3] Enter 9-9-3 and then press VOL-. The LED blinks four times. Volume is now
independently controlled for the selected devices.
