Question about Epson P-3000 (40 GB) Digital Media Player

1 Answer

Epson P-3000 image/multimedia viewer will not download from SD or CF cards. It plays MPEGS on the cards, and one can view photos on the cards, but "Backup" to download the cards' content to the viewer gets a message "Unable to access file" or "No data". Firmware updated, without fixing the problem. Epson support says to send it out for repair, but it would seem to be a software problem, not hardware.

Welcome to Fixya. Updating the Firmware would have resolve the issue that you have but it don't. If epson says that you need to send it for repair it does not means that this is just a problem with the hardware. Sending the device to epson would be better so that the can check if this is a problem with the software or hardware then they will replace or fix the issue with your viewer.

Digital Spectrum Memory Frame Model 8104. CF memory card with group of photos and they display upside down. Pictures from same CF card display properly on my computer. Help?

Not a fix, but interesting.
I have found that the built in win10 image viewer will sometimes do this, even if, as you have done, I rotate and save the images!
There may be some data in the EXIF info doing this? I can't find the images right now to check as they are on a PC at work (work related!)
I fixed it by using a "real" image viewer ;)
Does your camera have the ability to invert images when the camera is rotated? Just clutching at straws.

I cannot open a downloaded EPS image file in Lenovo photos. Lenovo photos does not even recognize that image exists in the folder that it is in. How do I view this file?

Lenovo photos may not recognize the .EPS file extension. You can download this viewer from CNET and save the file to a different format if you would like.

Hope this helps,

I have a Kodak Digital camera and had 190 photos on the SD card which we viewed on the laptop and now cannot view them on the camera. Please can you tell me what to do.

It may be happen SD card error, you can formatted it and it will re-used again. but do this way, your photos will be lost. you can copy your photos to your laptop. if you have lost your photos without backup. you can recover photos from SD card by hodo photo recovery software, the free download site:

Photo recovery

you can try some photo recovery software. You can see
It tells the steps how to perform photo recovery.

If above does not work, you may have to format the memory card (use quick format), and then use above mentioned software to scan again the memory card and recover your files.

I put pictures in my memory card but doesn't let me view them in my camera

You need to import the photos to your PC to view them. There are two ways to do so: connecting a camera directly to the computer via USB (Universal Serial Bus) cable and by using a flash memory reader. Using the flash memory reader is considered the fastest method to transfer images. Some of the popular types of flash memory card readers are Secure Digital (SD), Compact Flash (CF), Memory Stick (MS), Multimedia Card (MMC) and Smart Media (SM). Here is how you can use the reader to view photos from your digital camera.

I9+ image viewer

when you plug yourphone to the computer you should have two extra drives open will be your phone one will be your memory card. you have to find the photos or fmy photos older, you must have them in the correct folder. when you go to your image viewer, make sure it is set up to either look in the folder for your phone or memory card depending on which folder you put the pictures in.
