I have a coby Kyros and I forgot the password and can't get in. how can I take the password off?

This is the "master" reset procedure. No other way of clearing the unlock pattern.
*******This procedure will delete all items (file's) and entries on the MID7015******


Step 1- Power the unit off. Press and hold the "Power Button" till the "Device Option menu appears.

Step 2- Click on "Power Off .

Step 3- Once the unit has beI have a coby Kyros - image006.jpgf. Press and hold the "reset" button and "power" button simuI have a coby Kyros - image009.jpgor eight seconds.

Step 4- The following screeI have a coby Kyros - image006.jpg/uploads/images/image009.jpg" alt="image009.jpg" class="h_mi" /> will appear. Press the "reset" button.

Step 5- The Android system recovery screI have a coby Kyros - image011.jpg"/uploads/images/image010.jpg" alt="image010.jpg" class="h_mi" /> will appear.

Step 6- The "Home and Menu"
Step 7- Press the menu button to go to "wipe data/factory reset". . Press the "reset" button.


Step 8- The following screen will appear. .
Step 9- Press the Menu" button to select "Yes- delete all user data".

Step 11- The following screen will appear .

Step 12- Press the "reset" button to reboot/restart the unit.
