2 possible issues. If compressor running, but not cooling - No freon in the system, or compressor valves are bad, not compressing freon. Ideal would be to check pressures on the system while its running. Could be some kind of restriction. most common problem i would guess low freon level. Here are 2 of my videos i have on my channel. first is leak found at evaporator coils. i used leak dye to find it, second video is replacing compressor, but had compressor completely down. installed 3-n-1 hard start kit, but compressor did not come on, so replaced compressor with filter drier. Hope this will give you an idea what to do next.
I agree " fan runs and compressor seems to run" ------- But compressor should run while cooling cycle is going on, and compressor should stop running when defrosting cycle starts.------- In your case compressor is running non- stop. This is because the compressor is got weak, and the weak compressor is not able to cool the refrigerator fridge and freezer section.------- The problem is compressor, its got weak---------- Click this link below and follow the troubleshooting,:--- http://technoanswers.blogspot.com/2011/06/both-refrigerator-and-freezer-not.html ------------ This will help.Thanks.Helpmech.
SOURCE: not cooling
hi thanks for the question is the compressor running hot if its not hot and the fan by the compressor is running the problem is that the compressor is not starting check the compressor you might need a new start relay mounted on the compressor thanks the appliance doc
SOURCE: Freezer and Fridge side not cooling
check the condenser is not blocked with fluff, it is situated iether behind the lower front trim panel or in the back near the compressor depending on the exact model also ckeck the fan near the compressor in running freeley.

jame open the back cover of the evaporator are in the frezeer section you will a type of radioator thats is your evaporator now check for frost if just frosted is ok if all iced up and a lot of ice then yoy have a defrost problem if no frost and compressor is running and you are sure of that then check the name plate for the date the unit was manufacture is less tha 5 years call a tech ou to check for freon or restriction ;leaks if less than 5 years is free but you have to be sure is running becuase the seal system in the only one under warranty ok
SOURCE: fregerator not cooling
it can be fan defect or fan switch or timer as well as thermostat defect causing build-up of ice jamming the fan
SOURCE: Does not cool. Compressor is running, fans are
Hi, Look in the freezer section and see if there is frost building up on the rear inside panel. If the is frost, on of three parts are bad in the automatic defrost.
If there is no frost, the compressor might be weak and not pumping the coolant as strong as it should.
Remove the rear inside panel in the freezer sevtion and see if the evaporator is frosting at all.
Please let me know what you find so I can assist you further with this issue.
