I have no flame or heat. How do I disammble unit ti check for burnt out bulbs ect.?

Check that the lamps have any obvious indication that they are burnt out, such as a scorch mark or otherwise. Careful not to break them if attempting to remove them. With the lamp removed you can test them for continuity (like with any other type of light that has a filament).

Have a TV that turns on then turns off,

Unless it is an updated replacement it could cause the problem. Also if you get the set on some of these had a "quick on" feature where when the set is turned off the lamp dims but does not shut off-----this shortens the life of the lamp---in customer menu make sure it is off.

I have DLP 65 HM 167 I just changed the lamp Y67, I still have pin holes in ther picture what could be causing this

If these are little dots/pixels that are one color or black, I believe it is the optical block that is the problem. Unfortunately, the cost of it is the most expensive part in the set. With the cost of parts and labor I estimate it costing around $800.00 to $1200.00 to repair. With the cost of LCD units coming down in price, It hard to invest that much money into it.
I hope this helps,

Replacing the left rear driver side tail lamp assembly

Most of these type lights do not have a plug. I am assuming that you want to replace a burnt out lamp.

Here's what you do. Remove the assembtail lamp assembly. It is usually held on with 2 or 3 phillips head screws. If the problem is a burnt out lamp, the lamp assembly will unscrew from the unit by turning it counterclockwise about a quarter turn. Take the bad bulb to an auto parts store and get a replacement. The bulb will only fit one way into its socket. Then take the socket with the new bulb and insert it back in the housing. Again it will only fit one way. remount the tail light assembly.

If the actual plastic tail light assembly is broken or cracked remove the lamp assembly as described above, take the broken tail light to a dealer and ghet a new one. They are expensive. I just replaced one for my 95 F-150 pickup and it was $40.
