The machine knows what the water level should be at every step of the program, so if its full when it should be empty, is not filling when it should be or is taking too long to fill or empty the program will abort and count down in seconds as you describe.
First - check the drain filter for blockage!! if clear, can you hear the drain pump running on 'drain' program? a chug chug chug noise. If not pump may be jammed or seized - or the drain tube maybe be blocked at the waste connection on the sink, etc. Or maybe the water supply pipes have blocked or got turned off? Possibly the waste pipe may not have been installed correctly and the machine is syphoning empty? ie the end of the waste pipe is lower than the water level in the machine - so it syphons empty like draining petrol from a petrol tank! That would empty the machine when it should be full.
Check all the basics of filling, draining and filter before suspecting anything else.

SOURCE: wont work, flashes LR

rapoyner The "LR" error code means "locked rotor". It appears on the display after the machine has repeatedly tried to turn the motor. The cause of the problem could be the motor itself, the motor control board, the main control board or the wiring. If your washer is less then five years old most likely the parts are still under Maytag warranty. It has very sophisticated design and I wood recommend to call the Maytag authorized repair man even if the warranty is already expired. Gendos

SOURCE: bosch exxcel wf02465 wont spin

We had similar problem, with the spin cycle not working. We opened the 'drain' pipe (front-right bottom side). It was full of lime scale; never been opened for years. We cleaned it up and the spin cycle is now working.

The washing process stops after about 12 minutes at any program and the green door light is on but water in the drum.

it looks like your heating element are dead. But Im not sure.

Does drum is spinning?Does it pumps water then you set in on "drain" program?

AEG Lavamat 74689 Update wont pump out

Possible that the program timer is faulty as it fails to switch on the pump in the required sequence. You can clean the contacts, check the power to the pump, trace the pump power line to the timer which can confirm the case. In such cases the timer must be replaced.

I have an AEG Lavamat L 16850. It has stopped showing an EFO error code for the second time (on the 20 minute cycle both times). The first time I removed the fluff filter which seemed to solve the...

We have this problem for nearly 2 years now. It always occured in a special program ("Kochwäsche/Buntwäsche 60°" what means coloureds/boiled 60°).

The AEG technician didn't find the problem. Since we avoided that program, the problem never occured again.

But now, close before 2-years-warranty-by-law I demanded them again to repair it. I will report.

Clock turns untill pump turns on then stops. does c8866 timer work with well control box?

If I understand correctly, you are controlling 240V water well pump with Intermatic C8866 Repeat timer.

So you must be using pump to irrigate, and want to turn pump on at certain times of day for short periods ... and want this schedule to repeat continually non-stop.

1) The c8866 repeats the same program every 4 hours so this is good choice for irrigation and it just turns the circuit on-and-off so it works fine with well control box (unless you want more complex programming).
Many types and prices of cycle timers
More cycle timers

Let me give a buckshot answer and see if I hit one of the targets you have.

2) C8866 according to manual:
a) You have on-off trippers
b) First ON tripper turns on load for 32-40 seconds
c) Each additional ON tripper will lengthen ON time by 30 seconds

3) To lengthen ON time: add successive ON trippers into dial. Each successive tripper adds 30 seconds. Let's say you want ON time to be 3 minutes, you need 6 successive ON trippers.
Maximum timer setting is 240 minutes, so your ON-OFF program repeats every 4 hours.
10 Tripper pins come with timer.
Buy more pins at Grainger for 2.69

4) Did you say the clock stops running after hitting the tripper? If so, maybe you need a bit of grease on the pins ... or a new clock motor? Buy clock motors at Aplus
5) Review the wiring
Hots from Breaker connect to COM and CLOCK poles
1 Hot to Load connects to NO normally open pole
Other Hot to load connects to CLOCK pole

6) You can reverse ON-OFF programming by the following:
Change Hot to Load from NO to NC pole and this will reverse on-off programming
