My Sharp Aquos TV will not turn on...just a green ligth flashing...something to do with power...how can i fix it?

This tv i have one too a Sharp Aquos 46" inches,happen to me alot of times.Power light and OPC light flashes together.This problems is the tv Tuner board have problems and the causes,but this tv is still useable.Every times Power light and ORC light are flashing just push the power button again wait some times the tv backlight will come up and have picture work right away.Sometimes Power light and ORC light will flashes again.U have to this process sometimes 3 or 4 to it tv to work.Not sure long this process will last,but my opinion if u have to do it like 10 or 12 times.The tv Tuner signal board is on last leg,should be replaced.

common problem of this model is faulty CCFL lamp(s).

yes thats is a common problem for all flat tv not only
sharp ;/ first theres is capacitor in power supply
you probly have few one there blow up and it could bee from the power section of your back light circuit
a good technician can fix that easy

Hi i have seen this before sharp hdtv's are known for having the internal power supply go faulty

Call Sharp for warrenty repair.This problem very common in Sharp tv.Picture will come on turn power on/off button few times will work.But still under Wareenty call to Sharp to replaced the main Tuner Signal board.

Ur power light stable green first turn on?Then awhile click,POWER and OPC flashes.Tries on/off couple time,will work.Not then ur backlight video board is dead.

I had it picked up to be fixed on warranty. Downside is I'm out a TV for a week.
