My IBM T41 make beep sound and turns off itself. What is happening?

The closest diagnostic code that matches what you're saying is the 4 (continuous beeping). This is a video module failure or system board failure. The T41 does not have a separate video module which indicates system board failure.
If you can locate a T41 with a good system board on eBay for less than $50 then you could attempt a repair on the system. Otherwise the system is dead and its cost is greater than its value.

One long two short beep? Sounds like the common Video issue. You can try the reflow method. Look it up on yourtube or you can get the reflow guide from www.msbin.com

Go to IBM website and look for drivers for your computer model (T41) and locate the network drivers. (This obviously has to be done from another computer with internet access). Download and save the setup file to a flash drive and then run the setup on the IBM T41

You could have a memory problem. You RAM could be faulty or just needs reseating.

Hello, enter BIOS (by pressing "Delete")and find there restore default. If you drop it you need check inside laptop of connections components. Check Cpu or Ram.
