Hello I have a problem with my Z4Mplus label printer. I changed the ink ribbon and now the labels are being cut off at the end if I want to print one by one. If I am printing a stream of labels then the end one gets cut off. Could you please help me resolve this issue. Thank you.

If the blank line is vertical (parallel to the print direction) then
Either the head is damaged at this point (dots missing) or you have something on the ribbon which prevents the head from doing the transfer.
Or the ribbon is faulty and you have to change the ribbon

possible becouse the tear off position stop the gap on the wrong spot and wen you cut the label, left some label with glue expose, and wen you send other print, the printer make the backfeed and the label go stuck on the white rollar.
go througt the setings to TEAR OFF, and ajust to the front or back, untill hav the best gap/label rest possition and cut proply. don't forget to save (press setup button twice)

Two possiblities: 1. the darkness is not high enough for the ribbon/label combination. 2. the ribbon is on backwards. if the ribbon is on backwards, you will still see an impression on the ribbon but not on the label. This means all the ink transferred to the printhead which should then be cleaned.

The ink side of the ribbon needs to face down to the label to print so the easiest way to make sure which side has the ink is to use a label or piece of tape and touch it to the ribbon. If no ink comes up in the adhesive then that is the wrong side.

In your label software there should be a setting option for print darkness (I assume it adjusts the head temperature) In ours (bartender) you can get to it when you select 'print' and a window appears with a 'documents properties' button. Click on this and select options and a darkness bar appears which you can adjust. You may also need to slow the label print speed if the darkness adjustment is not enough. I suspect it isn't in the printers best interest to run the print head at maximum darkness/heat so a sensible balance of darkness and print speed is best.
Another, less likely, possibility is an incompatability between the label material or surface finish, and the ribbon type. We did have a problem once whem Homebase changed their price label design and we had to test a load of other ribbon types until we got one that did the job. A chat with the label or ribbon supplier is always usefull, they sent us several sample bits to test.

Could be down to tension on the ribbon roller/spool. Check to see if you have pulled out the end part of the spool (black bit) that should ensure there is back tension on the ribbon.

I changed the print head, and the issue was solved.

iN THE DRIVER CHECK THE head TEMPERATURE ISSUE. Most certainly you do not heat enough to do the transfer.
Else your ribbon is not mounted correctly. Zebra has an out inking transfer film

to test , press pause botton and turn on (press 5 sec.)
he print a "pause test".
check if print, if stop on ich gap and if come some lines across the print (if apear some lines, need new print head.) this step just pause wen print some labels, and then still print until turn off.
Turn off and turn on the printer to work normal.

To calibrate media, go on the setings to "sensor profile" and/or "run manual calibration, follow the steps. (dont forget to take the ribbon from the sensor.)
let the test run until finish.

Set the printer to transmissivefrom reflective gap sensing.

This will cause the printer to loog for the inter-label gap to tell it where the top of the label is at.
