It depends on the type of noise it is making.
These motors when failing tend to hum when trying to start which is a sign of a dry bearing.
Rattling sounds or ting ting ting sounds are either a lose fan blade (check the cheap retaining clip on the front of the shaft .. it may have wiggled forward causing the blade to wobble) or a lose mounting screw.
Also I can't tell from the diagram how close the fan is to the drip tray(tray evaporator) These fans not only aid in removing heat from the
condenser.. they help evaporate the water in the drip tray.
If you remove the motor.. have it tested before
replacing it. At a hundred bucks it's worth a trip to a good electric motor shop.They generally will test it for free.
If you are able to determine the voltage and hook it up out of the cabinet you may save yourself a trip.
Chances are it's a lose mounting screw or that front blade retaining clip.
