Hi, I'm having trouble getting my phone unlocked. I punched in the wrong numbers 3 times, and then it says I have to unlock my PUK lock, which i don't even know what it is. So... how can i unlock my t-mobile phone?

Well there is no universal PUK code available which you punch in and get the phone unlocked. So do not try to punch in PUK codes which your are not sure of in an effort to unlock the phone, because putting the wrong PUK code, ten times in a row will permanently deactivate your SIM card.

So to unlock the Nokia PUK code, you will have to call the customer service helpline of the network provider, who will ask you for the registration number of your SIM card. Once you provide them with the SIM card registration number, the PUK code will be given to you. PUK code better known as the PUC or the personal unlocking code is a feature which is present in all GSM cell phones

If you provide wrong PIN for 3 times, the sim will not be completely locked. You have another chance. You can enter the PUK code and you can unlock the sim.
To get PUK code, call customer care from some one's phone and follow the IVR. You will get the code immediately. Enter it and unlock.

Hi,when a cell phone is displaying Sim lock.. Two things you willneed to put under consideration.

! The sim card being blocked and it's asking for a Puk number..
! The cell phone being locked and asking for unlock code for the cell phone


When a sim card is being locked,it will ask for a Puk number whch means that you have exceeded the pin number typing it in more than three times.

To get the Puk code to unlock your phone,you will have to contact service provider which is specific for each mobile number.

Puk code does not affect the phone your using,but it affects the Sim card and it unable you to make out going calls. And you will not have access to thing on your Sim card.

To get your Puk code for you Sim card,you can contact service provider located in your area for help.
You can go to any of your service provider outlet stores around your area.Or you can contact them through customer care line..Am sure you know their phone number to contact them.

You can not get a Puk code to unlock your phone from another source except through your service provider service..


While the phone unlock, issues like this involves Unlocking your cell phone...

When you click on wrong pins, and you forget your pin number, the phone will get to a lock mode..
Trying to unlock it manually will not be possible at that time,because your cell phone will be unacceptable..

At this point in time, you will need to unlock the phone..

There are two methods in unlocking the cell phone..

!. Going to a local cell phone repair store around your area..They will help you unlock it..But it will cost you some money to unlock..

PUK code in PIN UNLOCKING CODE, which is required when you give PIN number wrongly for 3 times,
This code is OPERATOR specific and not phone specific and you have to call you operator and get PUK if PIN is blocked...

if you provide PUK code wrongly for 7 time, you sim may become useless, then you have to buy new SIM

NOTE: You should ask your service provider,get the PUK, Else it can be found in the booklet given when you purchased the SIM card
