I have a Dynex TV thats about two years old. Model DX-L150A11 It does not repeat the picture size when channels are switched. I have to use the zoom feature to get the correct size picture. I tried all different settings on the set up menu & it still won't always repeat the screen size.

I tried all that before and it didn't solve the problem. I did it again as you suggested and it still didn't solve the problem.

I did that and it gave me a picture that covered about 3/4th's of the screen

  • Anonymous Sep 04, 2011

I did as you suggested and I still get some channels that are not full screen.

I did that and the channel that is not full screen is set to your first instructions. Will not work

It looks like I will have to keep using the TV with this condition. I don't want to pay the manufactor big bucks to try and solve the problem. I assume your service will not charge me as the problem has not been solved.

Hi,
Do one thing Go to the menu of the tv. Select Picture setting and then select Advanced video and select Zoom mode. In zoom mode select Wide. If you hve already done this ,

Then select the Overscan option in the same menu page and select it as ON .
Next one select Auto zoom in the same menu page and select it as OFF.

    hi,
Check one more thing Go to the MENU and select SETUP. In the setup menu select RESTORE DEFAULT and and restore all setting to factory setting. When you do this you will loose all the channel settings. After reset you have to retune the tv to get all the channels. If you are using a cable receiver externally then check is there is any picture setting in that.. OK

hi, Select the channel which is not in full screen. then goto the menu and then do setting as my first comment to set that channel as full screen. Do this with all channels which is not full screen. If it dosent help then there is problem with the software of you tv. To upgarde the same you hve to consult the autorised servicing centre.

I have a Dynex, model DX-L22-10A . The problem is that the picture is in the middle of the screen.

Try changing the size of the screen by pressing Ratio or Screen size using your remote.

How can I configure the picture to match screen size? My picture is smaller than actual size of screen. I have Comcast cable if that makes any difference.

There is a # button (hd zoom) on your Comcast remote that will adjust the picture size. Also make sure you are set to the proper resolution on the Comcast receiver (720p) and that the Dynex television is set to the proper input for high definition.

I have a 42'' dynex tv, without an instruction manual. The picture is too large for the tv and I need to find out how to fix the pixels, I have tried every button and even all the choices in the menu....

You can get your manual here:
http://www.retrevo.com/support/Dynex-DX-LCD42HD-TVs-manual/id/22974bh131/t/2/
This is for the DX-LCD42HD-09.

The ZOOM button on the top of the remote is the one you want to keep pressing until you get the picture size you want.
If you are using a HDMI cable for HD, the HD channels should fill in the screen automatically. The non-HD channels would have the empty spaces on the sides for 4:3 screen format.
Best to keep it on normal mode, so the top and the bottom don't get cut off.
