SONY BRAVIA KLV-32S550a showing green blurry images. It was working fine but suddenly green blurry images started to show up in the entire screen eventhough we switched off for sometime and started again and it shows they same way. But the sound and controls are working fine. Does not know what seems to be the problem. Can anyone help?

The resolution on this was to check the surge protector the television was plugged into. Once we unplugged and plugged into another surge protector, the screen went back to normal and the appearance was great. We believe this was due to one of the resistors within the surge protector may have become faulty.

It sounds like your LCD Screen is no longer working. I would try contacting Sony and ask for a refund. I had the same T.V and the LCD Screen had gone out. A techniction came out and Condemned the screen and i had to pay $500 for a new T.V.

If the line is present in all inputs and modes, there is a problem with the LCD Panel. The only way to fix it is to replace the whole LCD Panel which is very expensive (usually around $1000+ for 40" Sony). Unless the TV in under warranty, it is usually around the same price for a new TV.

I'm afraid, its problem of LCD Panel (screen).
LCD Panel replacement is only solution for this problem and will cost you 70% of TV price, please contact nearest Sony service center for LCD Panel replacement.

Usually the LCD panel cost is around 80% of total TV price. Look for it in a center of service.
