Probably just dirty optics, and/or a dirty PCR.
Clean all, and then set manual exposure with SP4-001, and then calibrate auto exposure with SP3-105 , and 4-201

Error code F 26-3 on Konica 7022

Sir/mam, you might have a bad drum density sensor or it was not cleaned or was destroyed by static electricity, if a vacuum cleaner was use to remove the old developer, NEVER use a vacuum cleaner for that procedure. Remove the drum and will see a small sensor near where the cleaning blade sits need to clean it replace it. Worse case the main control board is bad that what sensor talks to .Was the L Detect procedure run after the developer was replaced, and before you replaced the developer did you clear the developer counter, to let machine know it has new developer, because clearing the counter is the only way the copier has new developer, did you clear the counter for the new drum? The machine use the counters to determine voltages for certain assemblies. If L detect was not run and copies or prints where made get new developer and start over.

Dear sir i have problem in ricoh 2045 its give the sc 990 after making copy may be software problem but i have not software for this machine how i can repair this machine with out change or update software...

Although SC990 relates to a software issue, it is most often actually caused by an aging drum - These machines can be strange that way. I would start by replacing the drum, and recalibrating it - Make sure to also replace the PCR.

Please let me know if it works :)

Streaky copies

It probably has several issues - optics dirty, and drum, and blade failing. I would also imagine that even the Solid "blacks" aren't as black as they could be, and that would be the developer. This machine is in the 17 year old range, and I wouldn't spend dime on it

Ricoh FT7650 Printing LIghtly - Developer Problem?

It isn't a broken corona wire. If that was the case, it wouldn't copy at all and you would have a few error codes as well along with a few sparks.

Ricohh 450. Error code E544 or E-5 comes up. What can I do to fix

This is a fuser error code. Sometimes it is caused by a mis-reading. Use the procedure below to reset this machine.

Press the yellow "clear modes" key then pres 1, 0, 7, then press AND HOLD the red "clear stop" key until the screen changes. After the screen changes, turn the machine off at the red switch on the front of the machine. Turn it back on.

If the code comes back you will have to call a service tech to troubleshoot and replace parts.

RICOH COPYING MACHINE MODEL 3713

Your copier may need developer if the cycle count is over 150,000 copies. Once that is added to the toner the Toner/Developer sensor should be calibrated and should work fine.

Sometimes the drum can create light copies if it was exposed to light from being out of the machine or leaving the door open too long on the side of the machine letting light in.

Developer....

When developer goes bad you use more toner for one thing, but the main sign is a gray background in your copy. The print should be black but appears to be gray. The ricoh 350/450 was always noted to leak toner and developer as it runs. Check your machine and see if you see any small piles of toner, which also has developer in it, in the machine. Ther are small seals made of felt that need to be replaced if you have this problem. These seals rub against the drum sides....Good luck.
