Navigate to file manager, open documents folder and you should be able to locate the PDF file if you would closely look at all the files in there one by one.
Another option is to open the downloads folder within file manager and look inside, you should be able to identify the file in question
Last option is while within file manager, type into the search box ".pdf" (a dot followed by the letters PDF; a without the semicolons)
This should bring up/call out all PDF files inside your device; scan through to identify and in turn delete the corrupt PDF file

Try updating your Quick Office program. Or, look for a Quick Adobe program reader. Look for software that can open the file. It could be that the program you were previously using to open pdf files bugged down.

There is something wrong with your Adobe as I too am using Nokia E71 and I just tried to read the User Guide, which is in PDF format of 172 pages. I could read till the last page. No probs. Must have got corrupted. Try again and if the prob persists then update the firmware. Quick Office and Adobe reader can not be installed seperately. Read the instructions carefully on Nokia site and carry them out to the letter.
