My Kenwood does not cream butter and sugar to 'light and creamy' mixture. I am using the standard large bowl that came with the mixer and have tried both the wire whisk and Kbeater. The mixture remains gritty even though it lightens in colour. Can you solve this problem please. I still love my Kenwood.

Hi Julie
It could be that you are using too much sugar, therefore making a more coarse mixture. Beat your butter first, then add the sugar until your mix is as you want it. The Beater would be the proper tool for this. The whisk is for meringue or whipped cream type mixes.
I hope this helps you to some degree
Joe

Oven cleaner is made just for this type of mess. Use with caution since it contains lye. Put a towel over your mouth and nose when spraying, wear rubber gloves, and avoid contact with painted surfaces. Leave on for about 20 minutes, wipe off, then wipe with a damp sponge.

Hello,

All Magimix processors I have seen have not had release buttons to release the bowl/lid. It may be worthwhile you contacting Magimix themselves to see if they can help you.

Please could I have Ice cream recipes Thank you thank you

Ingredients:
5 egg yolks,
1 pint (500ml) milk,
1/2 pint (250ml) double/heavy cream,
2 oz (50g) sugar,
150g (6 oz) milk chocolate cut into small squares

Create a custard base and at the point where you remove the saucepan from the heat, carefully drop in the squares of real chocolate. Stir to allow to melt and then leave the custard to cool. Then chill the custard until it's really cold. Once chilled, mix until slushy. Add the cream (whipped) and make sure it mixes in well. Transfer the mixture in an ice cream maker and freeze according to the manufacturer's instructions.
Instead of using wafers, you can make your own chocolate chip cookies- they make great ice cream sandwiches.
Thank u and if u want more recipes contact me . (^ _^)

Hi, i have kenwood chef cream maker and i have lost the manual which had the recipe for making the cream. pls. can you give me the amount of butter and milk to be used. thanks

I have a note with my Kenwood cream maker - equal quantities of unsalted butter and full fat milk. Heat until almost boiling but do not boil, put through the machine slowly. It makes excellent cream and I had to use ir regularly when living in the East. I lost my instructions too! I have been onto the Kenwood website but no joy and there is no model number on the cream maker.
