I wish to delete Match,com - Yahoo Mail

First, login on Match.com with your credentials, go to your "Profile" menu and select the "Account" option. At the bottom of the page, you'll have a small link to "suspend" your profile.

Be careful, this page allows you to "suspend" your profile, not to "delete" your profile. When you suspend your profile, it doesn't appear anymore and you can easily reactivate it later by login again on Match.com.

If you really want to delete your profile, on this page, you have a small link at the bottom of the page to do it. Just follow the steps to delete your information.

Before you delete your account make sure that you have first cancelled the automatic renewal of your subscription as follows. Within your My account page located the link in the menu bar at the top of any page once you have logged into the site you will see a tab that says My Subscription. with this tab you can choose to cancel the renewal with at least 48 hours notice before your next subscription payment is due - this date can be found within the same tab.

Once you have cancelled the auto-renew, you can then choose to delete your profile and account. cancelling the renewal of your subscription does not automatically delete your profile. Within your My account page there is also a tab that is labeled My personal info. Click on this tab and scroll down to the suspend my profile link. A new page will open and you can scroll right down to the bottom and select the option to delete my profile. In order to delete your profile you will be required to enter your username and password and then confirm again that you definitely do wish to delete it. This means that no one else is able to delete your profile for you.

Once you have confirmed that you wish to delete your profile, you will immediately lose all access to your account and you will be redirected to the homepage to which you will no longer be logged in. Within 24 hours, your account and all the information associated with it will be permanently deleted meaning that you will no longer have any access to stored messages, profiles, lists of any other information you had within your account. If there is any information you may want to keep from your Match.com account, make sure to take note of it before you delete your profile. The information stored within your account can never be retrieved even if you choose to start a new profile with the site.

If you have found someone special or no longer wish to receive messages from Match Mobile, delete your account or change your notification settings from the Match.com accounts screen.

3. Enter your password, and click " continue cancellation"
4. Click "Cancel Membership and Remove profile."

First, Delete your Match.com account on Match.com, then you right click on Match.com in your Favorites/Bookmarks in your browser, and choose to delete it. Go to: www.download.com and in the search bar type: Glary Utilities <Hit the Enter Key>

Find the Free version of Glary Utilities on the list and click to Download. Run it/Install it and when done, the Glary Utilities pops up. Click on the "1-Click Maintenance" navigation menu, Check the box that says "Tracks Erasor" (Once you do that, all history entries, cookies and passwords to those sites that are remembered are gone till you put them back after the cleaning) and click on "Scan for Issues" button. Once it's finished, Click the "Repair Problems" button. Close Glary Utilities.

One thing left is for you not to go back to Match.com and your fixed! :)

*Actually, it's pretty easy. Under the "Account" tab, there's a button that says "cancel membership" or something along those lines and it deletes your profile very quickly.

This only "deactivates" your account. It does not "delete" it. Your information is still in the match dot com system.
