Tune up for Hitachi 60FX32B
Remove rear cardboard cover....can you see tops of red / green /
blue tubes ? Clean lens' with soft , dry cloth......Do you smoke ?
If not , replace back. Picture should now be clearer but not
necessarily brighter.......Next, remove front speaker grill and find
the RGB focus / screen adjust block....turn RGB screen controls
SLIGHTLY clockwise to achieve more brightness....not too much
or you will have retrace lines in background of picture.......Let me know after these steps are done........T.
My Sony is 2 yrs old. It has a bright blue streak that goes form the bottom of the screen up the left side across half the top and then circles down the middle of the screen. It isn't too bad when the picture is light but it really shows up when the move is dark.
