Zenith xbr616 dvd tray keeps opening and closing it will not stop

You can also try a hard reset: Unplug player from AC mains and remove all cables from player. Wait about 30 minutes and replug to AC power and redo the cabling. Switch on the player and see if it works..If the tray problem remains then you need to get it serviced as this is hardware problem in the player:

Thats a common problem of a dvd player it must have been jammed the button. try to off and unplug to the circuit for a couple of minutes. if still the same happening then remove the top cover of your device and see if something blocking the disc tray. clean also the player inside to remove the dirt. before you open the top cover it should be unplug. hope that helps!

Its the close/open button, it is stuck . unstuck it by playing with it or by opening your unit.
