My washer still has water inside after finish cyccle washing.

It sounds like the d/w has a heating issues. Possible internal failure of the heating relay.

is the pump partially blocked? my machine sometimes lets a sock into the outer drum which then gets into drain pipe between pump and drum so pump runs but only half water gets out

No do not finish the wash.This could be a shorted electrical wire or motor.Unplug the washer.Remove the wet wash and put it in the bath tub for now.

You will need to siphon out the water or remove it by bucket.Continuing the wash could lead to electric shock or a fire.

This happend to me 12 yrs ago and the washer caught fire.it was a bad motor and the grease caught fire under it.

The mount a coin catching cup inside the tub to pump hose. Perhaps yall need to remove and inspect for objects.

this is due to the build up of scum in the washer pipes the best thing to clean it out with is bleach ,,,do a cold/hot water wash with nothing in the washer only a strong mix of bleach, when the wash has finished do another cold/hot wash again this time with only water in the washer to flush out any bleach left in the washer then leave the door open a little when you have finished your washing from then on,this should kill of any more nasty smells

Turn the watersupply off to the washer for a day, if there is no water there after a day, replace the water inlet valve/s.
If there is still water there, then it must be coming from the sink waste if the washer outlet hose is connected to it, kift the hose higher, this will prevent it from syphoning back into the washer.

Unplugged the unit; replugged it. Buying a new machine.

What has happened is you have sand in your water valve from your water. This pluggs the water valve and also sticks it open so when the water valve shuts of there is still a small trickle of water coming through the washer. Replace the water and it will fix the problem (no way of cleaning the inside of the valve.) Replace water valve.
