I've changed the ink cartridges and now the green light just blinks and the printer doesn't print. It's an HP D2360. I have unplugged and restarted, cleaned the contacts on the cartridges (not HP ones ,but new). Paper is OK, lid is down, nothing in the queue to print...
How do I reinstall cartridges slowly? They just click into place, do I have to do something else? How do I reinstall cartridges slowly? They just click into place, do I have to do something else?

printer pick the paper and print the test page and alignment pattern for black and color. if any of the black or color alignment pattern is not print ,then u have to change the cartridge accordingly.
It is blinking because something is wrong.
Turn the printer on.
Lift the lid that covers the print-head.
The print-head will slide to some position.
Look for 'v' markings on the case, where the print-head stops moving.
That V will point to the ink-cartridge that needs to be replaced.
Remove & replace that ink-cartridge.
Close the lid.
Look for GREEN lights.
The ink solidifies right behind the micro printing nozzles. The only way to attempt to rectify this is to dip the print face into some warm (not hot) water for a minute or two, and dry after wards. If the cartridge recovers, Yippee, if it doesn't, replace.
Common problem. Be thankful it isn't a Canon or Epson, which entails replacing a seriously expensive 'print head'.
that is because ur head of ur printing cartridge is damaged.
remove ur cartridges black as well as color
n install only black cartridge n check d blinking of lights on ur printer if it doesn't blinks it's mean ur black cartridge is OK but ur blinking of light on ur printer is same it's mean ur head of black cartridge is damaged
after this process remove the black one cartridge and install the color one cartridge n check d blinking of lights on ur printer if it doesn't blinks it's mean ur color cartridge is OK but ur blinking of light on ur printer is same it's mean ur head of color cartridge is damaged
now take a dry cotton cloth n gently clean ur cartridges head
install both cartridges on ur printer n check ur blinking light on ur printer
that will work only if u r too lucky other wise u have to purchase a one cartridge.
