Why does not agitate on rinse cycle

It shouldn't agitate on rinse cycle. ''Quick wash'' is the last type of ''cycle'' you can select that the machine will ''agitate.'' On ''rinse'' cycle, it will fill with water and then simply drain & spin.

Beko WMP652W washing machine will start cycle but get stuck at end of wash, doesnt go onto rinse or spin any help please?

see the next steps and use the common sense: God bless you
When the cycle doesn't advance, it's probably the timer or a cold-water supply problem: It's the timer, if your washing machine fills with water and begins agitating, but the timer never advances--or if the washer is in a spin cycle and the timer won't advance. Then you need to replace the timer. It may be a cold-water supply problem, if the washing machine fills with water, agitates, drains, and spins, but then doesn't fill with rinse water. See There's no cold water.

Kenmore Heavy Duty Series 70 washing machine gets stuck in cycle.

Either your timing motor has broken or the gears that it drives are stripped. The timing motor is easy to replace but if the gears are stripped you will need a whole new dial assembly.

Does washer drain before the spin cycle starts?

Normally yes. There are around 12 to 20 gallons of water in the tub after the wash cycle, which will be anywhere from 63 to 110 pounds of weight in addition to the weight of the clothes. For the machine to start the spin cycle to remove this water would place a heavy load on the motor, gearcase, pullys, belts, gears, ect. With the water drained, the load is lighter, and much easier to start spinning the excess water out of the clothes. The normal cycles are: Fill, Agitate, Drain, Spin, Rinse Fill, Agitate for rinse, Drain, Spin Cycle and off. Imagine trying to spin a 5 gallon bucket of water over your head, full of water, and then empty. Which one do you think would be easier to do? And safer for you.

Not draining..agitator making a grinding type of

The bad news is with the combination of not draining and the grinding it is undoubtedly the drain pump. The good news is they are not difficult to replace. Let me know if you need any info on replacing it yourself and I'll try to give you the steps needed.
Hope this helped.

Kicking out water during wash cycle - spin instead of agitation

Hi,
Try these

  1. Check the drain hose, it should be at least as high as the top of the wash tub, about 38 inches.
  2. The drain hose must sit loosely in the house drain. Do not seal the air gap around the drain hose or a siphon will occur.
  3. Check the drain control lever
  4. Test the drain control coils
  5. Check the cam bar

It keeps getting stuck on rinse cycle a

Hi there,

It's the timer, if your washing machine fills with water and begins agitating, but the timer never advances--or if the washer is in a spin cycle and the timer won't advance. Then you need to replace the timer.

It may be a cold-water supply problem, if the washing machine fills with water, agitates, drains, and spins, but then doesn't fill with rinse water. See There's no cold water.

Check it out....

Good Luck!!

thanks

Will fill and drain, not agitate or spin though

I am having the exact same problem with the same brand machine.  I put in a load of clothes to soak till the morning, but in the morning, the washing machine would only fill, spin, and drain.  The agitator would not wash the clothes, so they came out with the soap of course still crusted in.

Whirlpool filling and washing, not draining, rinsing or spinning

Check out your outlet filter, probable it is clogged. Clean this out and refit. Most cases when the drain or spin does not work, it is the filter. This is a suggestion.
