Although you can't block the call, you could save the number in your contacts, and then set the default ringtone for that contact to "No Ring"

SOURCE: barring numbers

If you have Call Blacklist facility in your handset then you can use it to block specific numbers.

If you don't have the Call Blacklist feature in your handset then ask your Operator if they provide the Call Filter services. In some regions Opertors too provide the Call Filter services.

Through Call Filter service you can manage your own Blacklist or Whitelist number. Your Blacklisted numbers will be blocked at the operator end and you will get the sms that you had a call from your such and such blacklisted number and the call is successfully blocked.

How do you remove barred from a number

Hello,

You cannot barr or unbarr a single number, you can only barr a group of numbers, for instance all international incoming calls, local incoming calls, etc.

To unbarred a group of call,

Go to your phone menu,
Select your settings,
Select call settings,
Select call barring,
Select unbarred all.

And the call will be unbarred.

take care

Inactive sim

Did you buy your phone from someone? secondhand? Your phone is network barred it has been reported lost or stolen and the network has blacklisted the imei (serial Number) from getting onto any UK network, All the sims act differntly when placed in a barred handset some get signal but wont make or recieve a call and just make an error tone and some say "sim card registration failed" either way you phone is as good as a chocolate tea pot as the networks will not reverse the barring and the only other way to get the phone to work in the uk is to un-barr it which is changing the phones imei number which is illegal so that leaves you with one option sell the phone on ebay to someone abroad as the barr is only UK based
