Question about GE Profile PSW26P Stainless Steel Side by Side Refrigerator
The ice maker only produces crushed ice,
it stopped making ice cubes. Can you
advise a resolution to this problem?
Most likely nothing broken. Just pull out the ice bucket. You will see a metal rod along the bottom area that protrudes into a hole in the back of the freezer. That gizmo has to move up and down freely to set the crusher / cube arm in the correct position. You should be able to move it up and down with your finger. If not, it may be frozen, or have a bad solenoid.
