I would first of recommend doing a calibration of your joystick. To do that, make sure your joystick is connected to your computer and go to your start menu>>devices and printers. Once your window pops up, find your joystick and right click on the icon, and go to settings. You can find the calibration wizard there. Once that is done, open up your Flight Simulator X, and go to the settings tab. Along the right hand side, click on controls. From there you can configure your joystick buttons to whichever action you like. Please keep in mind as well when your are adjusting the elevator trim, rudder trim, that the adjustments made from one keystroke, or button push, are very very small adjustments. You can change that by moving the slider on the Repeat column, thereby making one keystroke or button push equal to multiple taps!
