do you see thin curved blue lines going from bottomto top of screen. If so its most likley a blue CRT drive board issue. If its a solid blue it could be a small signal board issue.
RCA Scenium HDTV (Model #: D52W135D)(Chasis # ATC221) WILL NOT TURN ON!! When plugged in after a while of being unplugged the front power light will flash green lights first once...then 9 more times. I can hear the static in the back but nothing will turn on. It really sucks becuase we were just watch yesterday, turned it off after a while of it being on(I don't know if that matters) then the next day in the morning I tried to turn it on and it wouldn't turn on... :Z PLEASE HELP!!
your power supply unit is going bad you dont have much longer before it goes your volume buttons picture light. screen all run through it. go to vancebaldwinelectronics.com to replace it.
If it's normal television, with CRT picture tube . then it's Blue gun which went off normally its a solid state circuit which can malfunction. which is located at the back neck of picture tube blue gun out put circuit a transistor or a resistance of 470 K or 390 K Ohms can blow off. or the tube base can loose contact with the blue gun pin.
good day.
The case you encounter with your unit is just a minor one. Most often caused by loose contacts particularly in the horizontal circuitry. Try to have the circuit be resoldered.
