Ah, the UK is a little big for one zipcode, but UK and Canadian zipcodes look like that; Europe's not much different, but Araby and Africa have a modified grid format. look on sewusa.com they have pictures of machines and threading diagrams. they don't list good housekeeping machines but good housekeeping doesn't make sewing machines; they just re-label someone elses look at the pictures of other machines and see if you can find one that matches yours.

218-751-2420 which appears to be over 100 miles from you. I have 3 Windtuunels and love them. They are relativing easy to repair. Most likely someone failed to place handle in the upright postion before sliding the carpet height. (My housekeepers hve done this numerous times.) If you or if you know someone that is handy, take the cover off and reassemble the slide switches (carpet height switch, moved out of place). For the on/off switch, disassemble the handle, order a new switch from Hoover's website, and replace it. The wires are easy to reattach and the switch simply snaps in. If by some chance you purchased the Windtunnel from Costco, they will take it back and refund you.
