Windows 7 is one of the more secure versions of windows.
If you did whats known as a "factory" restore then the password will also have been reset to the default.
If you did just a staged restore back to a date when you were one of the users then the password should still be the same.
Windows 7 does offer you the option of making a password reset disc and if you did not do that then you would need to try log in with the admin account.
The default on most (but not all) is username = Administrator and the password is either empty or = admin or administrator
If that fails you could try by downloading UBCD or a copy of HIRENS boot CD

Burn it on a clean computer and then boot from the CD itself to get access o the reset programs.

On the bottom of your laptop there is a white sticker that will have the model and series # of your particular computer. I can find you your manual I just need these numbers. I also need to know if this is a Satellite, Satelllite pro, etc.
